Work With Me

How therapy can begin, and what you can expect from the process.

Beginning therapy can feel significant. This page offers a clear and grounded overview of how support with CorAnima may begin, what the first steps can look like, and how practical details are approached.

A steady beginning

Starting therapy does not require everything to be fully explained in advance. Some people arrive knowing exactly what they want support with, while others begin with only a general sense that something feels difficult, repeated, or emotionally heavy.

CorAnima is designed to make that beginning feel calm, respectful, and manageable. A first enquiry can simply be a way of opening the conversation.

What this page can help with

  • Understanding how first contact can work
  • Seeing practical session information clearly
  • Knowing what to expect before reaching out

Therapy often begins not with certainty, but with a willingness to give difficult experiences a little more attention, understanding, and care.

Step 1

Make an enquiry

Reach out with a simple message about what you are looking for, or ask a question if you are unsure.

Step 2

Receive a response

CorAnima can reply with next-step information, availability, and whether the support feels like a suitable fit.

Step 3

Begin thoughtfully

If it feels right to proceed, the process can move into a first session or an agreed starting point.

Your therapist

Katalin Schonffend — Accredited Counsellor and Psychotherapist

"I believe every person has an innate capacity for growth, healing and change. Sometimes life experiences, relationships, stress or difficult circumstances can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves. Therapy offers an opportunity to pause, reflect and reconnect with the values, strengths and wisdom that have always been there, even if they feel difficult to access right now."

You do not need to have everything figured out before making contact

A first enquiry can simply be a place to begin. If you are unsure what to say, that is completely alright — a short message is enough.
